On August 12, 2026, with the blessing of the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, and at the invitation of the administration of Victory Day Care, the Rev. Fr. Nzhdeh Keshishyan visited the senior care center.
Fr. Nzhdeh conveyed warm greetings and blessings, first on behalf of Archbishop Hovnan and then in his own name, to the administration, staff, and residents, expressing his gratitude for the invitation and the opportunity to spend time with them. Hundreds of residents gathered for Fr. Nzhdeh's pastoral visit and joined the clergyman in prayer.

During the visit, Fr. Nzhdeh reflected on the spiritual significance of the Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God and celebrated the traditional Rite of the Blessing of the Grapes. Following the ceremony, he personally distributed the blessed grapes to the residents and spent time visiting with them, listening to their concerns, and sharing in conversation.
At the conclusion of the visit, the administration expressed its heartfelt appreciation to Fr. Nzhdeh for his pastoral visit, blessings, and the beautiful ceremony. They expressed the hope that he would return often to pray with them and share the Word of God.
In the coming days, the residents and staff of Victory Day Care will visit St. Leon Armenian Cathedral to pray and to meet with the clergy.
