St. Sarkis Armenian Church of Santa Clarita Celebrates Feast of St. Sarkis the Warrior

On February 8, the Armenian Apostolic Church observed the Feast of St. Sarkis the Warrior. On the following day, St. Sarkis Armenian Church of Santa Clarita celebrated with feast with great excitement and enthusiasm.

The day’s celebrant and homilist was the Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian. Following the service, a reception was held in the church hall. The parishioners were delighted to welcome State Senator Scott Wilk who presented a Certificate of Recognition to Fr. Sarkis Alanjian for his devout pastoral service at St. Peter Armenian Church from 2016. The parishioners expressed their wholehearted gratitude to Fr. Serovbe for his humble service of the communities of Santa Clarita and Palmdale. In turn, Fr. Alanjian thanked State Senator Wilk for the honor and the parishioners for their unrelenting support, steadfastness to their ancestral Christian Faith and loyalty to the mission of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
