His Holiness Mar Gewargis III Sliwa Catholicos Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East visited St. Marys Assyrian Church of the East in Tarzana on Thursday, September 19, 2019.
At the invitation of His Grace Bishop Mar Aprim Khamis, Bishop of the Western Diocese of the Assyrian Church of the East US, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, accompanied by Archpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian attended the prayer service and the pontifical welcoming dinner banquet.
