Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America unveils renewed its visual identity and newly-launched website

On April 27, the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America unveils its renewed visual identity and newly launched website. This is more than a change in appearance; it is a renewed expression of who we are as a Diocese: a Church rooted in Christ, shaped by Armenian Christian heritage, and called to serve faithfully in the world today.

At the heart of the new logo is the Armenian letter Է (Eh) — the name of God and the seventh letter of the Armenian alphabet. Interwoven into the design, the Է forms a cross, proclaiming the words revealed to Moses: “I am Who I am” — «Ես այն Աստուածն եմ, որ Է.» The mark reflects the divine presence at the center of the Church and the sacred inheritance carried through the Armenian faith, language, and tradition.

The new visual identity brings together ancient symbolism and a renewed mission for today. Inspired by Armenian manuscripts, sacred iconography, and the carmine red of Vordan Karmir, this identity honors our past while helping us speak with clarity, beauty, and purpose in the present. A renewed identity. The same eternal faith. Visit our new website at wdacna.com and watch the video.
