The YWCA and the Glendale Commission on the Status of Women held its annual Purple Tie Awards on October 22. "Reimaging Hope," featured curated conversations with this year's four honorees one of which was Fr. Vazken Movsesian for his work in the area of bringing awareness to and preventing domestic Violence.
The virtual event was streamed. The conversation between Fr. Vazken and Tara Peterson, CEO, YWCA Glendale, can be viewed below:
The conversation included reflections about the War in Artsakh.
Commendations were awarded on behalf of the State of California and the County of Los Angeles.
