Khrimian Hayrig’s Pocket Watch Returned To The Mother See Of Holy Etchmiadzin

The ornamental pocket watch of His Holiness Mkrtich Khrimian, Khrimian Hayrig (1820-1907),125^th Catholicos of All Armenians, was donated to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

The Georges Favre Jacot pocket, watch with the engraving of Khrimian Hayrig on the face plate was saved by the grandfather of Berta Baghjajian and his siblings from Dirsim/Kharpert of Western Armenia. The historical artifact was acquired by Mr. Vartan Nazerian of Los Angeles and was presented to His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians earlier this week.
