Communications Department
Sergey Arustamyan joined the Western Diocese as the Communications Director and Bookstore Manager in September of 2009.
Sergey is responsible for the Communications Department. Translation of letters and writing weekly communiqués constitute an important share of the workload at this department. There are also English letters of the Primate that are composed, edited and processed through the Department of Communications. Occasional typing of the Primate’s longhand writings in English are also done at this department.
Sergey was born in Yerevan, Armenia. He immigrated to Skokie, Illinois in 1992 and in 1997 his family relocated to Glendale, California. He is a member of St. Peter Armenian Church in Glendale, California.
He earned his B.A. in Business Administration from California State University at Northridge.
