Sunday school students, teachers, superintendents, families, and families from across the diocese met at the Los Angeles Ararat Home on Sunday, November 5, 2017 to "kick off" the Advent Season.   It was a full day, beginning with chapel services in the morning with Fr. Sarkis, from St. Gregory, Pasadena, music with Sevag Derderian, chair of AACCWD, activities and crafts led by Gail Chelebian, CEC Chair, and visitations to the Ararat Home residents who were entertained by the children as they sang sacred church music as well as a few holiday favorites.  

The Christian Education Council wishes to thank the Ararat Home and the Ghookasian Family for their gracious hospitality so that we may bring these highly anticipated events to our Sunday school families.
