His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan, Pontifical Legate of Western Europe and Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of France was the guest homilist at St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral on Sunday, April 2, 2017.

The celebrant priest was the Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan, the Cathedral’s Pastor in a service presided by the Primate.

At the conclusion of the service, two crosses of the nave were consecrated by the Primate, Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan and Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian, respectively. The benefactors of the crosses were the Iraqi Armenian Association and the family of Levon Davidian, of blessed memory.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a reception in honor of His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan was held in the Hampar Room of the Western Diocese.
