ST. MARY ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF CONSECRATION GALA BANQUET SATURDAY EVENING JUNE 24,2017 SOLEMN DIVINE LITURGY JUNE 25, 2017
Published - 30 March 2017

The Costa Mesa Parish will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Consecration of St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church on Saturday Evening June 24, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Newport Beach.  This joyous occasion will feature a gala banquet, including live music and dancing.  Soloist Alene Aroustamian will entertain during the cocktail hour (6:00 to 7:30 PM) as we toast the future.  Dinner will be served at 7:45.   Afterwards, the Tavit Samuelian Band will provide the entertainment and play music throughout the evening for your listening and dancing pleasure.

Through a continuous background slide show of pictures, we will remember our humble beginnings, as our parish was just getting started, and enjoy the fruits of our labors with pictures of the many groups and organizations that contributed, and continue to contribute to the vitality and vibrancy of our Church today.

Primate of the Western Diocese His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and our Founding Primate His Eminence Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian have confirmed that they will grace this event with their presence.

On Sunday, June 25th His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian will celebrate Divine Liturgy at St. Mary Church in Costa Mesa.  His Eminence Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian, who presided over the Consecration of the Church 25 years ago as the then-Primate of the Western Diocese, will also be in attendance.  St. Mary’s own Hovsepian Choir will add that special touch to this special day.

The 25th Anniversary of the Consecration of St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church is a time to reflect on the efforts of those who have worked hard and have made financial contributions, large and small, to ensure the propagation of the Church’s mission.  Also, and as important, this is a time to toast the future and to think about the challenges our parish will face.  Let us all prepare the next generation to become the devoted caretakers and leaders of St. Mary Church.

May God continue to bless St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church.
