Don’t miss the opportunity to encounter the spiritual brilliance of one of Christianity’s greatest mystical voices through the insights of a distinguished scholar.
Join us for a special lecture exploring the profound spiritual depth of the prayers of Gregory of Narek, who is venerated as a saint in the Armenian Apostolic and Catholic Churches and was declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Francis in 2015. Renowned scholar Prof. Abraham Terian will introduce several key concepts that help unlock the richness of Narek’s writings—a spiritual treasure-house filled with deep faith, poetic beauty, and transformative insight. Professor Terian is Professor Emeritus of Armenian Theology and Patristics at St. Nersess Armenian Seminary in New York, where he also served as Academic Dean for a decade, and previously taught Intertestamental and Early Christian Literature for twenty years at Andrews University. He is also an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and the Ambrosian Academy of Milan.
