On Saturday, February 7, 2026, led by the Rev. Fr. Zaven Markosyan, Parish Priest, a group of parishioners from St. Sarkis Armenian Church of Santa Clarita took part in a pilgrimage to St. Mary Armenian Church in Yettem, California.
This pilgrimage provided a meaningful opportunity for our parishioners to visit the oldest Armenian Church in California and to unite in prayer and fellowship. A prayer service was conducted by both clergy, with the participation of parishioners from both churches, leaving all in attendance spiritually uplifted and blessed.
The pastor of the host parish, Rev. Fr. Mashdots Keshishian and the parishioners of St. Mary’s Armenian Church extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to our group and graciously hosted us for lunch. The day’s program also included games, and brief remarks from several individuals, making the experience both joyful and memorable.
We would like offer our heartfelt appreciation to Fr. Mashdots and the parishioners of St. Mary’s Armenian Church for their prayers, hospitality, and kindness, which made this pilgrimage a truly wonderful experience for all.
