On Thursday, August 7, 2025, the Zvartnots Cultural Committee of the Western Diocese hosted a festive gathering titled Yerevan Night, bringing together parishioners and friends for an evening of social fellowship. The celebration was highlighted by ghapama, the beloved traditional Armenian pumpkin dish, which served as both the centerpiece of the evening and a reminder of Armenia’s rich culinary heritage. Dr. Simon Simonian, Chair of the Zvartnots Cultural Committee, delivered the welcoming remarks, warmly greeting the attendees and setting the tone for a night filled with cultural pride and community spirit.

Under the moonlit summer sky, guests shared in the joyful atmosphere as they savored ghapama and enjoyed a program of music and poetry. Recitations by Nune Avetisyan as well as a dance performance by Tamar Karagozian brought depth and emotion to the evening, complementing the musical performances by Sergey Arustamyan and DJ Chris that filled the air with festive cheer.
