The Western Diocese ushered in the Christmas season with its 13th Annual Christmas Boutique and Champagne Brunch, held on December 4, 2024. This much-anticipated event transformed the Diocesan complex into a vibrant celebration of Christmas spirit, bringing together parishioners, families, and community members.
The boutique featured an array of unique handcrafted gifts, delicious Armenian delicacies, and festive decor, offering something special for every visitor. Attendees enjoyed the warm atmosphere, highlighted by the joyous melodies of Christmas carols and the festive cheer that filled the air. As the centerpiece of the Diocese's holiday calendar, the boutique embodied the spirit of giving and community unity.
A highlight of the day was the presentation of Certificates of Blessing and Commendation by the Diocesan Primate, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, to five distinguished ladies and honorees: Dr. Talar Tejirian, Nora Mazmanian, Diana Hekimian, Lynette Amerian, and Andrea Fehring. These accolades were given in recognition of their selfless service to the Armenian Church and their dedicated contributions to the community. Archbishop Derderian expressed his deep gratitude, stating, “Your commitment and acts of kindness illuminate the core values of our faith and inspire others to follow in your footsteps.” This special moment underscored the Diocese’s appreciation for those who work tirelessly to strengthen the Church and uplift the community.
During the event, the Primate also delivered a heartfelt commendation to Mrs. Araxie Boyamian and the members of the Ladies Guild of the Western Diocese for their dedication and tireless efforts in organizing the boutique. "Your steadfast support and devotion to the mission of the Western Diocese exemplify the true essence of Christian service," Archbishop Derderian remarked. He thanked the Ladies Guild for their meticulous planning and unwavering commitment, which ensured the success of this cherished tradition. In the artistic portion of the program, the guests enjoyed the dance performances of the Petrossian Theater Dance Company and the solo performances of guitarist Karo Sarafyan.
