When I think of the mission of the Church, then I see the Church as the God-planted lighthouse in the tempest of the world. The world in which we live today is in a tempest and the Church is called by the Almighty God to pour into the hearts of all people the fire of love, which certainly transforms our spirituality and reminds us all of our God-entrusted responsibilities. The more people turn to God, the brighter our lighthouse, namely the Church will be in the tempest of the world.

As the Church is the lighthouse in the tempest of the world, so is the case with each of us. We all can be the lighthouse in the life of our families and in the circle of friends. It only takes a few seconds from us to say a prayer from the depth of our hearts and then we will see the change of heart and soul, the new person within us.
