ACYO Convention Banquet
Published - 24 January 2020

On January 18, 2019, the Diocesan Primate presided over the ACYO Convention banquet which was held at the Nazareth and Sima Kalaydjian Hall of the Western Diocese.

His Eminence welcomed the delegates highlighting the collective accomplishments of the ACYO throughout the year, commending their zealous Christian spirit and commitment to preserving the Armenian identity. In his remarks, the Primate encouraged the youth to become visionaries and leaders. “What defines a leader? The following traits come to mind – vision, energy, enthusiasm, and courage. As we analyze these traits, we witness their undeniable presence in your hearts,” stated Archbishop Derderian. “In your life’s voyage, you are courageous visionaries with Christian virtues aiming to steer back the ship of morality that has steered off course. Foresee the future and captain the ship back to course with noble deeds, humility, confidence, and kindness. As young adults, I rest assured that you possess the energy to complete this monumental task,” he continued.
