Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh Visits the Western Diocese

This year, Armenians around the world will mark the 30th Anniversary of the Artsakh Liberation Movement.

On March 12, 2018, His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Artsakh and a delegation visited the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.

The esteemed guests were greeted by the Primate, Diocesan clergy Archpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian, Archpriest Fr. Hovsep Hagopian, the Rev. Fr. Avedis Abovian, Diocesan Council Chair Joseph Kanimian, Esq., Diocesan Council member Mr. Barkev Hamalian, Dr. Sarkis Mesrobian, and Mr. Harout Markarian, Executive Director of the Western Diocese.

A number of events in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Artsakh Liberation Movement are scheduled to be held in 2018. Organizational efforts of the celebratory events were introduced and discussed in the meeting.
