Western Diocese Continuing Education Launches 2026 Public Lecture Series Exploring Faith, Spirituality and Culture
Published - 5 February 2026

The Western Diocese Continuing Education program announces its 2026 Public Lecture Series, presented under the auspices of Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate. The program is part of the Diocese’s Institutional Innovation initiative. Designed as an open and accessible forum for learning, reflection, and dialogue, the series invites the public into conversations on Armenian Christian tradition, theology, spirituality, culture, and contemporary realities.

The six monthly lectures will explore timeless questions of faith and meaning alongside urgent modern concerns.  They offers a journey through sacred art, spiritual literature, biblical tradition, personal spirituality, and the future of Christian communities in the Middle East.

These in-person lectures—held in the Hampar Hall at the Diocese in Burbank—are open to the public and welcome all who are interested in thoughtful exploration of faith, identity, and meaning in the modern world.
