On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral, with Archpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian, Pastor of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Glendale, serving as the day’s celebrant. During the service, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese, conferred the four minor orders of acolyte upon Babken Arshakyan and Hamlet Sargsyan, marking a significant milestone in their spiritual journey.

In his remarks, Archbishop Derderian encouraged the newly ordained acolytes to remain steadfast in their devotion to Christ, our Lord, and to serve the Armenian Apostolic Church with humility, faith, and love.
