The founders of this blessed nation fought for the land and freedom of the people, many of whom sacrificed their lives. Independence should be respected only in applying and abiding to the order of law. As the country goes through many challenges, we ought to deepen in our spirituality and be more respectful to one another and honor each human being's right to life. Celebrating independence day involves mutual understanding and rendering of respect for one another as honorable citizens. This year's independence day should be observed and celebrated with our faith and trust in God.
