In these most difficult days, people share with one another astonishing clips and stories. I am no different. One of the most fascinating clips that I enjoy is a musical performance conducted by André Rieu. In one performance, he calls on a hundred and five year old lady Sister Leona, a fan of the waltz dance. And the most captivating moment was when André Rieu invites her to a dance. Thousands of emotional people honor them with a rousing standing ovation.
To me, the world family should live these beautiful moments. This should be the choice for the right way of a noble life which leads us to create the beautiful and inspires us to come closer to God and the people of God.
As the waltz ended with Sister Leona, André Rieu went up on stage and made the following statement: “A waltz a day keeps the doctor away.”
Below is the link to the beautiful dance they share. (starts at 1:28:00)
My short reflections are the prayers of my hearts. In times of solitude, these are my dialogues with God as many of them end with a prayer from my heart to God.
Almighty God, my life journey has been with You and I have to thank You for always guiding my steps on the path to the truth. Though at times, I have stumbled, You have always lifted me up and protected me from going astray. In your Holy Hands, I put my entire life. Amen.
