On Monday, January 6, 2020, Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center commemorated Armenian Christmas with the Great Blessing of Water ceremony. This inaugural service was led by Father Vazken Movsesian and Deacon Sevan Palanjian of Saint Leon Cathedral, the headquarters for the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church in partnership with Father Mark Ciccone of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center’s Spiritual Care department.

The medical center is deeply proud of the diverse community it serves and looks forward to observing other notable Armenian holidays.
