On June 30, 2019, the day's celebrant at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral was the Rev. Fr. Zohrab Manasyan, visiting priest from the Diocese of Kotayk in Armenia.

During the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral, with the participation of the Rev. Fr. Zohrab Manasyan, the Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan, Pastor of the Cathedral, and the deacons, the Diocesan Primate ordained Allen Vartanian and Grigor Kupelyan as a sub-deacons. The Primate extended his blessings to the newly ordained stolebearers and exhorted them to uphold the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to renew their calling to service in the Armenian Apostolic Church.
