Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Las Vegas Mr. Andy Armenian Visits the Western Diocese
Published - 15 June 2018

On June 14, 2018, the Honorable Andy Armenian visited the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America and met with the Diocesan Primate. The Honorary Consul briefed His Eminence on the current and future activities of the Armenian community of Las Vegas. In turn, the Primate expressed his gratitude to Mr. Armenian for his diplomatic service rendered to the rapidly growing Armenian-American community.

The Honorary Consulate of Armenia opened on April 18, 2015. Armenian-American community leaders, activists and elected officials of Las Vegas gathered to celebrate the opening of the first honorary consulate in Nevada, which presently serves approximately 20,000 Armenian-Americans living in the Las Vegas region and beyond.

The honorary consulate, located at 1013 Whitney Ranch Drive, offers passport and visa services for both visiting Armenian and American travelers. It is Armenia’s third consulate in the United States, joining the Los Angeles Office of Armenia’s Consulate General and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno.
