International Women’s Day of Prayer

The traditional annual World Day of Prayer, brought together over 500 Armenian Christian women from all denominations of the greater Los Angeles area on March 3, 2017.

The 11 am-12:30 pm Prayer service was graciously hosted by St. Gregory Armenian Catholic Cathedral in Glendale.

The theme: "Am I Being Unfair to You?" was taken from Mathew 20:1-6. Featured speakers were: Jasmin Doctorian Workman from Baton Rouge Louisiana in English and Marie Ksarjian from Pasadena in Armenian.

The Coordinator, Mary Agulian was assisted by a committee, representing all denominations. They were: Silva Atolikian, Linette Almasi, Angela Deryeghiayan, Marie Jeanne Harmandarian, Marie Ksarjian, Mary Moujoukian, Lucy Panosian Seta Saleh, Lucy Tashjian and Mary Thchagaspanian.

The participating clergy were His Eminence Archbishop Moushegh Mardirosdian, Father Antoine Noradoungian, Pastor Henrik Shahnazarian, the Very Rev. Dajad Yardemian who was accompanied by Father Khajag Shahbazyan and Father Serovpe Alanjian.
