Primate and Fr. Vazken Movsesian Visit AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School
Published - 10 February 2017

On February 8, 2017, the Primate, accompanied by the Rev. Fr. Vazken Movsesian, paid a visit to the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School in Canoga Park. Visiting different classrooms, the clergymen informed the students and encouraged their participation in the upcoming youth rally and conference from March 10-12 themed “Reclaim: Embracing Our Faith in a Changing World.”

RECLAIM: EMBRACING OUR FAITH IN A CHANGING WORLD

  • The challenge of embracing faith is the theme of this three-day conference. Timed during the Lenten Season, “Embracing Our Faith in a Changing World” will offer participants an opportunity to grow spiritually and find peace that comes from faith in Jesus Christ.
  • All conference events – classes, meditations, service-project, worship services, morning hike, art project – will be in line with the theme “Embracing Our Faith in a Changing World.” Given the rapid changes in this world, the Armenian Apostolic Church offers a time-proven (2000 years) tradition of faith in Jesus Christ. Embracing that faith is the challenge of the day. This Conference provides the necessary spiritual tools to move from the secular to the sacred; to find comfort, strength and courage to live the Christian life.
  • The three-day format for this conference will offer time for instruction, expression, introspection, artistic exploration and fellowship.
