Primate Pays Pastoral Visit to St. Andrew Armenian Church of Cupertino

On March 3, 2019, the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian paid a pastoral visit to St. Andrew Armenian Church of Cupertino. His Eminence celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the homily on the Feast of Great Paregentan. During the service, the Primate granted altar server David Madey the four-minor orders of Acolyte and Christine Abrahamians, Lucine Oganesyan and Deacon Levon Barsoumian received Certificates of Blessing and Commendation, recognizing their dedicated service to the Cupertino parish.

Following the service, Archbishop Derderian presided over a banquet where parishioners Edma Dumanian, John Kibarian and Gloria Chen were honored with the Diocesan Hye Spirt medal in recognition of their selfless service to St. Andrew Armenian Church. The Charekian family were the recipients of a Certificate of Blessing and Commendation as an exemplary Christian family, loyal to the teachings our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Armenian Church.
