Primate Visits Armenian Schools

This week, the Diocesan Primate, accompanied by Diocesan clergymen visited Armenian Schools in the Los Angeles Area and met with the students and the administration of the respective schools.

On Monday, October 22, Archbishop Derderian, accompanied by Fr. Yeremia Khachatryan, visited the AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian School in Pasadena. On Tuesday, October 23, His Eminence, with visited three schools including AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School in Canoga Park. He was accompanied by Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirjian. On the same day, Archbishop Derderian visited the Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School in Pasadena and Sts. Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School in Altadena.

On Thursday October 25, accompanied by Fr. Serovbe Alanjian, His Eminence visited C&E Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School in Sherman Oaks. Lastly, on Friday October 26 Archbishop Derderian visited the students of Little Angels Academy in Burbank.

In his address to the students, His Eminence primarily stressed the importance of gratitude in the life of each Christian. Archbishop Derderian called upon the students to be grateful for their wondrous God-given gifts, namely their lives, their parents and loved ones and the beautiful bounties of the world which adorn our lives.  and the accompanying clergy encouraged the students to excel in their studies, to attend Church and to converse with God through prayer.
