Primate Attends Lenten Vigil at St. Mary Armenian Church in Costa Mesa: Delivers Homily

On Thursday, March 8, the faithful community of St. Mary Armenian Church of Costa Mesa welcomed the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian. Presiding over the Lenten Vigil, His Eminence also delivered the homily wherein he called upon the faithful to strengthen their spiritual bond with God through prayer, almsgiving and fasting as well as self-reflection in the journey leading up to the Victorious Resurrection of Christ, our Lord.

Archbishop Derderian also presided over the installation of the newly elected Parish Council members, wishing them continued success in carrying out the mission of St. Mary Armenian Church under the resolute leadership of the Pastor of St. Mary Armenian Church Archpriest Fr. Moushegh Tashjian.
